Hey I don't understand all this healing and miracle stuff with my natural mind but so what? All that matters is that it's real. Why do we always need to understand exactly how it works? :)

Jesus or Job

Forget about Job - he did not have authority over the devil like we do.

The Old Testament is relevant but was surpassed by the greater.

Why do we still live from the OT? Why is it so apparent in church? Sigh.

1 John 3:8 - He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work.

Matthew 10:8

Another scripture that proves that God does not want sickness to remain on people:

"(Jesus said) Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely (without pay) you have received, freely (without charge) give."

Matthew 12:15

"But being aware of this, Jesus went away from there. And many people joined and accompanied Him, and He cured all of them."

He healed them ALL! It does not not say that He left some sick in order to strengthen them, teach them or give them character.

Put that in your pipe and inhale it very, very deeply.

Present tense

This is awesome. It actually says in verse 4 that if anyone tries to work for righteousness it is seen as debt and not grace! ("Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.")

Romans 4:7-8:

7 “Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
And whose sins are covered;

8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin.”

I really don't know how people don't get that the grace message does not preach sin but freedom from sin. The teaching by Andrew Wommack's really helped me to understand it better: 'Spirit, Soul & Body'.

If Jesus said that the greatest command was to love, then we have greatly missed it.
